Mail-in repair service

Not near Sequim? Mail it in.

Ship your phone, tablet, computer or game console to our shop. We'll diagnose it, send you a quote before any work begins, repair it by hand and ship it back to you.

You pay for shipping — both ways.

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to eFix and from eFix back to you. You create and pay for both labels yourself with FedEx, UPS or USPS. Shipping is not included in the repair price, and eFix isn't responsible for packages lost or damaged by the carrier — we recommend adding tracking and insurance.

Option A — Put a prepaid return label in the box

When you make your label to us, also create a second label from eFix (our address above) to you. Print it, fold it and include it in the box. When your repair is done, we stick it on and ship it straight back.

Option B — Email us a return label later

Prefer to wait? After we finish the repair, create a prepaid label from eFix to your address and email it to services@efix-wa.com. We'll ship your device as soon as it arrives.

Before you seal the box

  • Back up your photos and data if the device still turns on.
  • Remove cases, screen protectors and memory cards you want to keep.
  • Leave your SIM card in only if we need it to test calls or data.
  • Include the charger only if the problem is charging-related.
  • Wrap the device in bubble wrap and fill empty space so it can't move.
  • Place your printed mail-in form inside the box, on top.

Mail-in questions

Good to know before you ship.

Who pays for shipping?

You do — in both directions. The customer pays for the label to send the device to eFix and the label to send it back. Shipping costs are separate from the repair price.

Will I know the price before you repair it?

Yes. Once your device arrives we inspect it and contact you with a quote. No repair work begins until you approve it.

Which carrier should I use?

Any of them — FedEx, UPS or USPS all work. Choose the one that's most convenient or affordable for you, and add tracking so you can follow your package.

Should I insure my package?

For phones, laptops and consoles we recommend it. eFix isn't responsible for packages that are lost or damaged by the carrier, and insurance protects you if something happens in transit.

What if I forget to include the printed form?

Write your name, phone number and the problem on a piece of paper and put it in the box, or call the shop so we can match the package to you when it arrives.
